I'm usually the type of person who kills any plant within 100 yards! My thumb is not green, it's hot pink with glitter. But look at this!! Tomatoes and jalapenos that I grew on my deck! Can you believe it? We tried some of the jalapenos tonight on our pizza, my lips are still on fire. Yum! I was so excited I just had to post this. It is very encouraging! I am now planning a big garden for next year! (Yes, I know, settle down - but when I get an idea, I run with it!)
Okay. Now, I have to show you why this is such a big deal.

My thumb? Blackest of blacks. So I can imagine being over the moon thrilled to have nurtured plants that actually yielded something. Congrats!
