The Nitty Gritty : You Capture: REAL LIFE

When I saw that Beth's "You Capture" this week was

"Real Life", I thought to myself,

"How honest should I be?"

Well, here you have it folks, dust bunnies, wild giggles,

stretch marks, crying kids, and a messy basement....

it doesn't get much more "real" than this.

My life is not perfect, but it sure is grand.

Check out Beth's blog, I should be folding Laundry

to see more Real Life captures.

That is excellent and honest and beautiful. Especially the dust bunnies.

See, I dont have dust bunnies as much as I have clumps of dog hair floating around the corners of my house... ugh... welcome to MY life!

Love it, lady! It doesn't get more real than dust bunnies and stretch marks and crying and giggling. Good stuff. We've all got 'em. I love getting real! :)

Oh, that fire truck ride on looks like one of ours!

Also, you're braver and more real than me. No one is seeing my stretch marks. EVER.

You are brave to post stretch marks. I think you have become the queen for that one!!

For some reason the pictures I have of our little girl crying always make me laugh...

Appreciate your honesty.

I love a picture of a crying baby. Thanks for your willingness to be so open and honest about how it really is.

I have random pieces of my own hair that my daughter constantly has in her chubby little hands. Ugh. Love the honesty, and high five on the stretch marks!

This is one of the best, real depictions of life. I'm glad you did that.

Thanks for being so real. Now. . .maybe I should close my computer and take care of a few of my own dust bunnies. :-)

Great post! It's difficult not to love the dust bunnies, crying babies, stretch marks, etc. when you realize you couldn't live without 'em :)

Love the stretchmark picture. I have way more than you, and zero children.

It sure doesn't get any more real that this. At least I'm not alone!

Great shots! btw, your stretch marks aren't bad--my 4 little ones left me with Prune Belly. :(

Your openness to show REAL life is awesome here.

Your dust bunnies and mine probably hang out and play games while were gone...they look very similar! :-)

I love these because I could have taken them all myself. Well you know, with MY dust, MY kids and MY stretch marks, but you get my drift.

Thanks for keepin' it REAL! : )

I think you are so brave to post the stretch marks photo. That is the one part of my body I cringe over and yet seeing that all mums have been left with changed shapes and skin should make us feel that it is ok to show the signs of our pregnancies. There is too much media pressure to be back in a bikini with toned smooth midriffs. Thanks for being real.

I absolutely, positively LOVE this post! If you think those dust bunnies were bad you should have seen what I found today under my t.v. stand!

Some of my favorite pictures of Spencer are when he's not smiling. Who wants pictures where they always look like angels?

Great post again! I can't say it enough!

I can relate! I have all that here too! Great pictures!

God love ya for showing REAL life! I tried to do the same thing, however, I will NOT be showing my stretch marks, as my stomach hasn't seen the light of day in 20 years.

You're speaking for all of us. Brilliant!

You are so real, love it. And it's not like anyone else would think anything bad of it, aren't we all like this? And I am saying this when I don't even have children...

OK gotta go now, I have been out of the loop on reading any blog or keeping mine up to date due to lots of work. Now that I am back here I can't stop reading but I have to.... get to work.

Can I just say that due to my work schedule I am not feeling great, some what lonely and very tired. Then I get to your blog, only because the title comforts me. Isn't that funny!
